Burton Snowboards
For the third consecutive year, Profanity Creative is immensely proud to have partnered with Burton Snowboards' creative team to design the broadcast package for the globally-renowned Burton US Open of Snowboarding—the world's most enduring snowboarding event.
This year, our inspiration sprung from early 1990's music videos, Van Halen being a particular reference point. The event creative was dominated by an intensive use of dynamic typography, vintage scrapbooking elements, and intentionally degraded footage to echo the nostalgic aesthetics of that era.
Our designed broadcast package was extensively utilized across multiple platforms, including television broadcasts, webcasts, event videos, and a plethora of social media assets crafted specifically for the event. In addition to the captivating animations, we provided Mogrt templates for Burton's editing team, empowering them with the ability to make on-the-fly alterations.
For this project, we employed an array of Adobe tools, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator, to bring our creative visions to life.
