For our third year in a row, we were honored and humbled to work alongside the creative team at Burton Snowboards to create the broadcast package for the world’s longest-running snowboard event, the Burton US Open of Snowboarding.
This year's event creative was loosely based on early 1990's music videos (think Van Halen) with a heavy use of typography, scrapbooking and degraded footage.
The broadcast package was used for the television broadcast, webcast and event videos along with many of the social assets created for and during the event. On top of the animations, we also created Mogrt templates for Burton's editing team to use for on-the-fly changes.
Tools used in this project were Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Illustrator.
